八桂大地最动人的开篇

便是这声声不息的三月三歌圩

三月三歌圩

壮族是中国人口最多的少数民族，能歌善舞，喜以歌传情、择偶。当地定期举办山歌盛会 “歌圩”，尤以农历三月三歌节最为隆重，活动包括对歌、抛绣球、碰彩蛋、放花炮、壮戏表演等。

The Zhuang minority is an ethnic group with the largest population.Zhuang people make friends through singing, express their passion through singing and even find their love through singing.

The Zhuang villages have regular singing festival every year, known as "Ge Wei" (singing fair).

In most places people have "Ge Wei" on the third day of the third month in the lunar year.

In "Ge Wei", there are also abundant and colorful games other than singing competition, including casting embroidery ball, clashing colorful egg, setting off beautiful fireworks and performing the Zhuang drama which is favored by all people.

三江侗族多耶节于每年10月举行，是侗族祈福纳祥、传承文化的传统佳节。“多耶” 意为众人牵手踏歌而舞，节日里侗族同胞身着盛装，手拉手围成圆圈踏节而舞，歌声与脚步声相映成趣。活动还包含百家宴、侗族大歌、“坐妹” 等民俗，人们以歌会友、以食传情，尽显淳朴热情，让侗族文化得以传承发扬。

The Duoye Festival of the Dong people in Sanjiang,held every October, is a traditional festival. It is a time for the Dong people to pray for good luck and get together. It also helps pass on Dong culture.

In the Dong language, "Duoye" means people hold hands, sing and dance together. On the festival day, all Dong people—men, women, old and young—wear their best clothes.

Besides the Duoye dance, people also enjoy the Hundred Families Banquet, the wonderful Dong Grand Songs and special folk activities.

People make friends by singing. They show their feelings with food. They talk about harmony and friendship with laughter. It shows the Dong people are warm, simple and kind. This festival makes Dong culture bright and lively.

融水芦笙斗马节是融水苗族独具特色的民俗活动，也是全国独有的传统文化节庆，已列入柳州市级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录。节庆定于每年 11 月举办，除大型芦笙广场舞、斗马赛事外，还开展芦笙舞比赛、芦笙比响等特色活动，场面热闹盛大，充分展现苗族浓郁的民俗风情与文化魅力。

The Rongshui Lusheng and Horse Fighting Festival is a unique folk custom of the Miao people in Rongshui and a one-of-a-kind traditional cultural festival in China. It has been inscribed on the List of Representative Items of Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage of Liuzhou. Held every November, the festival features large-scale lusheng square dances and horse fighting competitions, as well as other distinctive events such as lusheng dance contests and lusheng sound-offs. The lively and grand scenes fully showcase the rich folk customs and unique cultural charm of the Miao people.
